Southeast 225° – Time Lapse

PROJEct by Daniel Derflinger

It takes the hiking pace to see how fast the moving landscape changes and what boundaries there are to cross: The impressions become fewer yet all the more intense. The more one gets away from the main routes, the more the chance encounters with other people become powerful, intimate moments.

The expedition was captured in time lapse.

My walking pace was brisk at first, driven by the heavy morning commuter traffic from the suburbs. After leaving the main routes, my pace got increasingly slower.
