The place itself is not as important as the thoughts, feelings and experiences it invokes in you. Entering these zones of self-transgression – of feeling lost, of resistance and physical fatigue – condenses and qualifies experiences. This generates moral and aesthetic motifs as we also know them from painting. Moreover, the walking pace sharpens the ability to see details and sceneries.
